This is a clip from a radio prank. I am evaluating how I feel about this one. Something feels off.

You mean they're really not kosher? Uh oh...
My first thought was that I've never heard people who are really religious swear like that! What kind of s**t is that? ;-)
My second thought was that it was a disgusting thing for Julie to do to her parents. What a rotten daughter!
Sara,
Nope.
Aaron,
It could easily be turned around. Just look at movies like Look Who Is Coming To Dinner.
It is a common theme for society.
RR,
I haven't heard my frum friend's parents ever speak like that. Not saying that it is impossible, but...
You are right, the daughter was kind of rotten.
This really went too far
Datingmaster,
What is with the Happy Husband sig?
I've never heard a child be so matter-of-fact when her parents are that upset. I also didn't get the impression that the parents were religious at all. There are plenty of non-religious parents who don't want their daughters dating non-Jews... but I don't believe this is a real conversation. What girl is so calm when her father threatens to pull her out of school?
I never liked those phone calls. I'm so happy for everyone listening to the radio who thinks it's funny, but I don't think I'd ever trust anyone who did that to me.
And I just want to agree with the whole anti-semetic aspect that bb mentioned...
Ahuva,
The daughter comes off very poorly in this.
TRW,
I can see how this would be considered a violation of trust.
