I like Peanuts. Who doesn't, how can you not be a fan of Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the gang.
My confession for the evening is that I have always enjoyed watching A Charlie Brown Christmas. I don't watch it every year, but it is not totally out of character for me to spend a few minutes checking it out.
My favorite Peanuts holiday special is the Halloween show. Poor Linus sits outside all night waiting for the Great Pumpkin to arrive.
Anyway, unlike the Great Pumpkin the Xmas special arrived in time to celebrate its 40th anniversary. If you are interested in learning more click here.

As a child, there were 2 movies that I was very partial to during the holiday season:
Babes in Toyland (March of the Wooden Soldiers) with Laurel and Hardy
and
Miracle on 34th Street (the original one)
Before they were colorized.
Hey DA,
Babes in Toyland with Laurel and Hardy, a classic.
