There are frequent conversations about what the consequences should be for different actions. In this case I think that this player should have been suspended for part of next season as well. MLB needs to demonstrate that they have no tolerance for this behavior whatsoever.

Local police departments and District Attorneys should prosecute all of these events as real crimes.
