I suppose I am showing my age by saying that I remember the playoffs versus the Phillies in '77 and '78. This time there is no Mike Schmidt or Greg Luzinski, no Steve Carlton.
Twice the boys in blue have teased me with a near win. It is time for them to get over the hump. Twenty years ago we defeated the mighty Athletics. We need to meet the Sox and destroy them.
The time is now.
