I like Pepsi and I like cucumbers, but Pepsi Cucumber? I don't think so.

Hi Jack. Great to meet you in L.A. this past weekend. Interestingly enough, the tip of the hat you gave on this post is to my brother, Bob, who lives in Japan, serves as keeper of the mountain above Lake Biwa, as well as his blogsite, PureLandMountain. He and I also contribute regularly to a collaborative memoir, The Blog Brothers, to which we both just posted a link. He'll be visiting in September.
Hi Mick,
It was nice to meet you also. Funny thing, I have a BIL who lives in Japan as well. But to the best of my knowledge he is not a blogger.
I know this sounds weird, but I picked up a can of cucumber soda at a Korean grocery not too long ago. It turnsout not to be all that bad. The first swallow is sort of confusing. One's tongue doesn't know know what to do with it, but after that it just tasteslike any other soda beverage, perhapsa bit sweeter. I think it would be better mixed with Pepsi actually. Cucumbers are members of the gourd family, so think: watermelon juice.
On the other hand, I don't see myself making a habit out of it.
KRG,
It is good to hear from someone who has actually tried it, sort of.
