My daughter is fascinated with my computer. I am not clear on the source of the fascination. It could be the beeps, bells and whistles or the blue light that signifies that it is on. What I am clear on is that she likes to play with it.
This would be fine if she were 18 because she would understand that it is important to be very careful and take great care when you are using someone else's stuff, but in this case it doesn't work that way. You see, at almost 18 months she is not real clear on these concepts and thinks nothing of using the Braille method to learn how to make the computer works.
She touches, presses, pushes, drools, bangs and slaps it. Most of the time we have managed to keep her from the computer so there have been relatively few issues. Today she did a fair impression of Barry Sanders and sidestepped my outstreched arm and somehow managed to screw up my monitor.
The screen just doesn't look right, at least I hope that she did this because otherwise I am in big trouble and in desperate need of an eye exam. If she wasn't so cute I might have to......One of these days I'll burst into her room and the teenage version will yell at me to get out and then I'll tell her that I am in there because of what she once did to my computer.
And then she'll roll her eyes at me and tell me that she has heard that story too many times. Children, you have to love them even when they make your hair fall out in clumps.

I know someone whose child at age 3 managed to put "Bob The Builder" on the computer screen saver. And Dad, the computer man, could NOT remove Bob from the computer. LOL.
I think she's trying to tell you it's time to tech her up :)
"hair fall out in clumps"

Chickadee,
That is pretty funny.
Mirty,
She can toddle over to her own toys, this is mine. ;)
Z,
The girl already loves the phone and shoes. I get the feeling that she is more than ready to let daddy get her lots of gifts, teched up or otherwise.
But she is very cute!
Michael,
