I liked the show much more when the winner of each round got to spend their winnings on prizes, especially because each episode had these cheap ceramic dogs that you could buy for something like $500 bucks a piece.

I agree. I loved it when the winners got to buy their prizes. And Pat Sajak was so BORING. Chuck Woolery was, is and will ALWAYS BE a stud.
When I was about 8, I wanted one of those ceramic dalmatian dogs. Wanted it bad.
I just saw Chuck at Costco. He bought 4 pairs of khaki pants. What is up with that.
