Now he is at it again. If you look at the following courtesy of Media Matters you will see part of a transcript of a conversation he had with Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA) executive director Hannah Rosenthal:
On the December 14 Radio Factor, O'Reilly explained that he was concerned that Jews would become like civil rights leader Jesse Jackson, who, he says, makes unwarranted accusations:
Bill, if you would just come clean and admit that you put your whole foot in your mouth and swallowed it you would be happier. Because it would be the honest thing to do, that is if you are are being sincere. But what I hear from you now smells like you are trying to intimidate us. It stinks of it and it will not be tolerated.O'REILLY: But, here's the -- here's the wider view. That Jews in America are the minority, all right? And those of us who wanna help Jews, like me -- and I put my money where my mouth is, okay? -- don't want Jews to fall into the trap that Jesse Jackson does all the time by accusing people of bias whenever they don't like something.
O'REILLY: I mean -- what I was distressed about here, and I think when you think about it, you'll see that I have a point. I mean, I'm not expecting you to agree with me, but I don't want your organization, or B'nai Brith, or even Foxman's organization, the ADL -- which I think is a militant organization -- I don't want you guys to be used.
And
"Because I think that, if that happens, there'll be a backlash against Jewish Americans that is unfair and that I'm just gonna have to redouble my efforts to make sure it doesn't happen."
You are playing with fire. We have as much a right to comment upon the actions, activities, policies and regulations of this country as anyone else. And no two bit talk show host is going to take that away from us.
Bill, if everyone around you says that you are braying like a jackass you might want to pull your head out of the trough and march back to the barn to reconsider your position.
