How Graphic Do I want To Be

Ok, on a day in which many of my clients are running around with their hair on fire I have to say that I have been wrestling with how graphic to be in some of my posts. Is it necessary or warranted to be crude. And my answer is that sometimes it is and by censoring myself I am not being true to my rules of blogging.

So here is what I want to say to the three clients that are acting like such major pains.

Client A- To quote Robin Williams, "You are a white man in dire need of a blow job." If I shoved a piece of coal up your ass when it came back out it would be a diamond. Take a deep breath and relaz.

Client B- You are in dire need of a vibrator, a new hair style and a punching bag. Please go home sick and take care of yourself before you end up on the top of a tower screaming and ranting away.

Client C- Thank you for being smart enough to understand that I get paid to make you look good. You listened to my advice, you let me hold your hand and now we both look like we are brilliant. If I were a woman of low moral character I would provide you with an extreme display of gratitude just because you are reasonable on a day when so many are not.

It is 10 am and what a day it has been already.

Microsoft Clears Space for Bloggers

"While the service is a nice idea, it's unlikely to shake anything up. "Very few people are engaged in writing Web logs," said Michael Gartenberg of Jupiter Media. "You have to wonder how much this is going to bring to the table in the end. More serious bloggers are probably going to use tools that are more sophisticated."

I am happy to see more competition. It is good for us as it forces the players to improve the tools we have for blogging.

The Peterson Trial Made Me Think of Something

If heaven forbid one of my children did something truly heinous, would I be able to turn them in? Or would I be in complete denial? What would I do if I knew that turning them in meant that they would be put to death?

G-d forbid I should ever find out, but this is the kind of thing that I think would be the ultimate Fuck you a child could serve to a parent.

In a few minutes I'll get ready for bed, but before I do I need to kiss both of my children and make sure that they are sleeping well.

Sometimes it is better not to know

My prostate is feeling better, the antibiotics must be working. Hooray for Cipro. When I went to the doc to get checked out I asked a number of questions, such "I am only 35 why is this happening to me and is this a one time occurrence?"

It got me to thinking about a few things:

  1. It is really hard to feel masculine after your prostate has been checked, just takes a little while for my natural sashay to return. An easy way to fix that is to go work on the Briggs and Stratton motor in my garage,
  2. The prostate exam is worse than the turn your head and cough exam. You boys know what I am talking about.
  3. If I was a little bit older I could have smoked and drank my way through steak dinners and never considered what the impact was on my heart and lungs. FWIW, I don't smoke and aside from the occasional cigar never have.
  4. If I was the Hulk I'd prefer to be blue and not green.
  5. Why are so many television shows being made into movies? Haven't we any ability to create new stories that are worthy of being made into movies.
  6. I miss Seinfeld. It always feels contemporary to me, one of those shows where I can just relate to it. I am the Master of my Domain.
  7. There is something wrong in being killed by a Lava Lamp.
  8. I don't think that I want to know what is going on in the kitchen of the restaurants I frequent. I'd rather just believe that they all practice outstanding hygiene.
No decisions yet on whether I am going to remain with Blogger or switch over to some other system.

The Priest And The Rabbi

A priest and a rabbi were sharing a compartment on a train. After a while, the priest put down his book and said to the Rabbi, "I know that in your religion you're not supposed to eat pork... but have you really never ever tasted it?"

The rabbi closed his newspaper and replied, "I must tell you the truth. Yes I have, on the odd occasion."

The rabbi then had his turn to interrogate. He asked, "I know that in your religion you're supposed to be celibate... but..."

The priest interrupted, "Yes, I know what you are going to ask, and yes, I have succumbed to temptation once or twice."

The two continued with their reading and there was silence for a while.

Then the rabbi peeked around his newspaper and said, "Better than pork, isn't it?"
