Almost every Sunday morning my husband makes French Toast with my leftover challah for my kids before he goes to shul. So what I love about French Toast is the Sunday morning experience of my husband taking care of the kids.

My friend makes french toast with cheese. Add a slice of American cheese on top of the french toast about 1 minute before removing it from the pan. The cheese will melt slightly and will be a little gooey.
Very fattening, but delicious.

I LOVE French Toast. I have a recipe for orange french toast made with challah and it's the bomb!

I like French toast also. I make my own, leave off the powdered sugar and use Splenda instead, and we use sugar-free Log Cabin syrup. You can't tell the difference in that and the real thing. We don't eat sugar any more, still watching my girlish figure, ha.

Rafi,

Waffles are a given.

Leora,

I have tried to make a habit of doing the same thing. It is an easy way to see that left over challah isn't wasted.

Raizy,

American cheese? I probably would have picked a different cheese, but it sounds interesting.

Z,

Orange French Toast- Yum.

Debbie,

You always need to have a treat in life.

JB,

:)

Hesh,

Sounds like it.
