MacBook Air

The MacBook Air looks pretty cool, but unless they have made some major progress in software I am not real interested.

'major progress in software'???

Hellooo, hadn't you noticed that every single version of windows has been a poor copy of the previous generation Mac OS... just two or three years behind?

And as for the DVD drive, yes it is lacking one, but you can either download movies via the net or tranfer them from an external dvd drive or even wirelessly from another mac!

Sheesh, with something this thin you have to leave something out! It's like those supermodels who seem to have had about half of their internal organs removed. :-)

Sarah,

The lack of DVD drive really diminishes the value.

I used to drink the Kool-Aid but not anymore. I use both Macs and PCs on a daily basis.

The software on the Mac is a giant Pain in the ass. It is just lacking and not nearly as easy to use as on a PC.

And thanks to the elitist Kool-Aid drinking mentality of Apple maniacs they're overpriced.
