Crocs

I think that I am going to give in and get a pair of Crocs for myself. I keep hearing/reading stories about how comfortable they are and that has my attention.

Fads don't interest me and I don't care much about style, but comfort is of major interest. And comfort seems to be the one thing that is always associated with these shoes.

Do any of you own Crocs, and if so, what do you think about them?

They're ok. I like the way they feel, but they don't have enough support/arch for me. I actually do better in flip-flops that have arches.

I have a pair of cheap knockoffs, and they are fine. The sole cushions your feet so they are easy to walk in.

They're good for gardening too. You can just wash the dirt off in the sink.

I bought a pair of the closed crocs because I felt the holy ones would be disgraced by my feet. I haven't used another shoe except when absolutely necessary. DON'T Settle for the knockoffs. Most people that I've talked to that have had both the real and the fake say the real is worlds better.
In summary they are the best shoe in the world IMHO. So practical, comfortable and much more.

I have a pair which I wear all of the time. I even travel in them because they're so easy to slip in and out of at airports. They're impervious to bad weather, clean easily with soap and water, and they're incredibly comfortable. I just wish I had bought them in a color other than fluorescent lime green.

They are super ugly but they are the most comfortable shoes I own. The Orieyenta household has several pairs.

You know the truth.

Babka,

I'll keep that in mind.

Miriam,

Comfort and easy to clean- makes me so very happy.

Advocate,

That is a strong recommendation.

Houston,

Traveling is one of the reasons I want them.

Orieyenta,

Several pairs- why am I not surprised. ;)
