That is one of those, I will always remember where I was moments. Driving home through the desert returing from the inlaws.
Years later, I was doing some PR work with the Dodgers and I was able to get Kirk Gibson to sign the LATimes with his picture, then I gave to a "friend."
Sounds like a good friend.
