Boy can I RELATE!!!
That was excellent, Jack, but one big question remains unanswered:
What is the solution???
wow... I can totally relate too. I always thought my biggest problem in life was "choice", but always said to myself "well, actually, I HAVE a choice, so what am I complaining about?". I get it now. And yes, what IS the solution? Where should I go, what should I do???
Smart stuff - I believe that you posted this once before but this kind of wisdom needs repeating. Thanks.
Mark,
The solution is one thing, but that one thing is entirely up to the individual.
MW,
Big questions are not always easy to answer.
Richmond,
I did post it before.
Very good, Jack. I must have missed it the first time around.
I liked the thought that there is a magical amount of choice that would make us happy and we've long since passed it.
Part of the solution is not to get swept up in all the bells and whistles on offer. The infant car seat, for example: so often I save money by buying a simpler product. I'm not missing out on something I might have had; it's a win-win.
Stephen,
You are one of the people that I thought might appreciate this. There is a lot of food for thought in this piece.
For me it is a great reminder to try and focus upon simplicity.
