I used to (1997-1998) work for a sales rep firm, and part of my job was all the behind-the-scenes work getting the guys (they were all guys) ready for CES. When I started there, the company resume they took to CES was a couple sheets of paper in a folder. By the time I left, they had a PowerPoint presentation and a spiffy folder with hard copies of each of the lines the represented, photos, and links to their brand new website. It was a ton of work and I was always a little sad that after spending weeks working so hard, I didn't get to go, too! I know... I'm such a geek. ;-)
It makes sense to me.
