YUCK.
Sounds revolting!
I could never be on Fear Factor. They'd reveal the "challenge", everyone else would be making like they were gonna hurl, and I'd be standing there with my arms folded saying, "I'm sorry, but unless this has a reliable hechsher, I'm not eating it!"
LMAO... I just don't need the money that badly... want, sure... need, no...
I can't imagine why anyone would want to eat bugs. It's not only my religion; after all, the Torah allows eating some brands of locusts! But the very thought makes me queasy.
But then again, there are people out there who feel the same way about a good juicy steak or hot pastrami sandwich (MMMMMM!), so I guess it's all relative.
Shoshana,
Is that a collective or individual yuck.
Baleboosteh,
I suppose so. ;)
Chana,
I hear you.
Elie,
I know what you mean. It is like when people say that they like cleveland. I just don't get it.
You might try actually going to Cleveland before you pass judgment.
Why? Every time you go someone gets sick.

That was a collective, humongous, total YUCK.
I worked at a Tampa Casino for ten years. We used to get huge water bugs in the parking lot at night. I suppose it's seasonal. When they appeared you could always see a few asian folks picking them up and putting them in bags.
When I was told they were collecting them to eat ... Yeesh!
