Hi Folks,
I am going to rely upon the wisdom of the masses. I need to get a new cell phone and am debating between the The Sprint PCS VisionSM Smart Device PPC-6700 and the Treo™ 700p by Palm.
I am curious. Does anyone have any experience with either of these phones and if so, what are your thoughts?

I can't say much about the Sprint PCS smartphone, but I have the Treo 650 (palm based) and am very happy with it. I would strongly suggest it -- just make sure you get a good case for it as I had several friends who had to have the screen replaced because it got cracked (it's a big screen). It also pays to get the insurance on the phone (an extra $5 a month).
Why are you using Sprint? I only use Verizon and all of their phones have been great so far.
My MIL has the Treo, I believe, and really likes it.
Better Q - why would anyone have Sprint!? My parents do, but that's because they don't have to have a contract and they pay like $25/month, but otherwise... ugh. Verizon or Cingular, my man.

Service provides vary from place to place. In LA Cingular has been problematic.
