Why the hell is Spider-Man going to Cleveland? He lives in Queens? Is he going on vacation or something? Who goes to CLEVELAND on vacation? Are they going to try and make Cleveland look like NYC in the movie? What is the world coming to????

It's not the first time they've filmed bits of Spiderman in other cities. The part on the elevated train in Spiderman 2 was filmed in Chicago.
It's just cheaper to film in the Midwest.
