"RESTON, Virginia (AP) -- Wilson Pickett, the soul pioneer best known for the fiery hits "Mustang Sally" and "In The Midnight Hour," died of a heart attack Thursday in a Reston, Virginia, hospital, according to his management company. He was 64."It was while watching The Commitments that I first really got into artists like Pickett and Otis Redding.
"When you're in jail, a good friend will be trying to bail you out. A best friend will be in the cell next to you saying, 'Damn, that was fun'." — Groucho Marx
Rest in Peace Wilson Pickett

sad news... The Committments, great movie!
I thought you were going to say you learned the news while watching the Commitments. Now that would have been a little freaky. That is a great movie and some really fun songs to groove to. It's seems that the soul train is moving on with the legends on board. A sad loss.
The movie was great, wasn't it.
