Many people have written about how addictive blogging can be. There have been countless studies and endless amounts of research done on this topic. Pretty soon it might very well have its own category in the DSM IV.
Soon to be written chapters include material on those who obsessively check their stat counters, bloggers who undergo depression about being unblogrolled and or unread and the Technorati surfers who repeatedly search their own blogs to see how many people are linking to their blog.
