Could You Cross The US on $5 a Day? Well Leon is busy making the attempt. I suppose that I am going to have to check in on him periodically and see how he is doing. It has potential.
I have a nephew that did pretty much that across Canada. In truth M (my nephew) did it on less.
The first time M dropped in Ottawa he was heading East to Halifax and headed to a job in a fish plant (I think) then he headed back to ontario (Barrie area) then he went west to somewhere in Albert Edmonton I think, and then my sister tells me he is in Dawson City Yukon.
I used to think the kid was a mooche (which may be true) but damn he can hitch hike the globe without even thinking about it. (maybe I should Blog his travels for him)
