Vicente Fox- What the Hell is Wrong With You

A recent comment by Mexican President Vicente Fox has gotten a lot of attention. In a recent news story it was reported that:

Fox made the comment Friday during a public appearance in Puerto Vallarta, saying: "There's no doubt that Mexican men and women — full of dignity, willpower and a capacity for work — are doing the work that not even blacks want to do in the United States."

Fox has refused to apologize for the comment. But I am not going to focus on the racial component, what I want to know is what does Fox intend to do about the illegal immigration issue. Why can't he work on improving things in Mexico so that there is not such a strong need and desire to cross the border.

Why can't he try and fix things so that Mexicans can work in Mexico and support their families.

America is a land of immigrants that was built on the backs of immigrants, but the issue here is one of legality. I am very concerned about illegal immigration as it pertains to Mexico and Canada. I know that there are White "illegals" as well as Brown.

Aside from the safety issues regarding who is coming in and out there are the questions of resources. And like it or not the people who break the law to come here are creating problems.

But again, what does Fox intend to do other than provide lip service about this.
