Media Bias- You Make the Call

The Independent is running a headline that I cannot term as anything other than misleading, misguided and biased. If you read nothing but the headline you cannot help but ask yourself what Israel has done wrong:

Israeli missile attack endangers truce

And then you read the first paragraph and what do you see:

A four-month-old Middle East truce came under renewed strain yesterday as an Israel missile attack killed a Palestinian militant after a barrage of mortar attacks on Jewish settlements in Gaza.

So what are they trying to say here, that it is ok for terrorists to attack with impunity. The next paragraph provides more fodder.

Palestinian security forces were reportedly involved in clashes with militants after angry complaints by Israel that they had not done enough to quell more than 20 mortar and rocket attacks mainly launched at Gush Katif, the biggest settlement block in the Gaza strip.

More than twenty attacks and all they can do is blame Israel for the problem. Classic.
