I think that the pope did many good things and that he should be praised for those actions. Others have been much more detailed and eloquent and I am not going to rework what they have already done.
But I have to say that I find this lying in state to be a bit creepy. It is entirely foreign to me and the few pictures I have seen of him remind me of a wax museum.
Nonetheless, I hope that his death was painless.
