Spiderman Goes To Church

I enjoyed the first two and expect that I will also enjoy the third movie in the series as well.

"Spidey's new villain is going to Church: Thomas Haden Church.

The Oscar-nominated Sideways star has been tapped to play the webslinger's new archenemy in Spider-Man 3.

"In addition to the on-going relationship between Peter Parker and M.J., these films are driven by the great actors who have brought our villains to life," director Sam Raimi said in a statement Tuesday. "Thomas Haden Church will be a fantastic and challenging new nemesis and we all look forward to working with him."
Raimi was mum on exactly which villain Church will essay in Sony's next installment of the Marvel Comics-bases superhero saga.

Church was best known as wide-eyed mechanic Lowell Mather on NBC's Wings before scoring a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award nomination for his role as a womanizing soap star on a wine-soaked road trip in Sideways. His big-screen credits include Tombstone, 3000 Miles to Graceland, Monkeybone and Spanglish, and he has signed on to voice a character in Paramount's upcoming CGI adaptation of Charlotte's Web."
