How Many Blogs Are Real?

Have you ever wondered about how many of these blogs contain real stories and how many are completely fabricated? I do.

Well, I guess I'd better come clean.

I'm really a 350 pound woman who lives 'alone' in Fort Smith, AK with a house full of cats and my collection of Reader's Digest and Fate magazines (stacked chronologically).

Happy?! :-)

It could be how that particular person defines reality... or how they define their blog!

Assuming that most of us have emotional intelligence (I would say that dedicated bloggers probably do as compared to the general population).... we can tell the difference in the real and the fabricated!

I think you can tell, for most of them. Or maybe I'm deluding myself. Generally, I think that anyone who blogs under their real name has more credibility. Are you trying to tell us something, Jack?

Hi Esther,

Nope, no secret messages. All my personal stories are true, but some do contain elements of hyperbole and elaboration.Big D,

Somehow I knew that you were really a cat lady. ;)

Well, mine are true, but at the same time I do not use my real name as my family has a fear of online stalkers or someone becoming obsessed and showing up at the door. I also refuse to post photos of the family.

Yes, i have to admit that my personal life is so silly and odd that I have yet to make anything up. There are some blogs you read though and just shake your head and wonder.

Still one of the most popular posts on the blog.
