Well if you are the corpulent conman known as Michael Moore you make a sequel. "Fahrenheit 9/11 1/2" is already being planned.
"Fifty-one percent of the American people lacked information (in this election) and we want to educate and enlighten them," Moore was quoted in Thursday's edition of Variety. "They weren't told the truth."
-Michael Moore
Isn't it interesting to see that he comes just short of calling 51% of America stupid, because that is what he is really saying. He rattles on about what the truth is as he understands it and in that context he is perfectly happy to call it the truth, even if it means twisting and distorting things.
The truth is that much of this is subjective and not easily classified as being truth or lie. I make no secret of my distaste for the man. He makes a living off other people's sorrow and is a tremendous hypocrite. Now I really do not wish any ill upon tubby, but I wish that every time he opened his mouth someone would stuff a Big Mac in there.
And just for the record I find the mudslinging on both sides to be destructive. It doesn't help to fuel emotional responses to problems that require critical thought and careful execution.
"When you're in jail, a good friend will be trying to bail you out. A best friend will be in the cell next to you saying, 'Damn, that was fun'." — Groucho Marx
