One of the things that I find quite distressing is the lack of moral clarity exhibited by some people. You can be upset with the war in Iraq. You can think that it is illegitimate, immoral and unwarranted. And you very well may be right.
But in my book you cannot do these things without making it clear that Saddam Hussein is culpable and shares a large part of the responsibility for the war. Have you forgotten what he did? Have you forgotten how we got to this place, this moment in time.
Are you willing to allow your ignore with Bush to absolve a real mass murderer of guilt. How can you do that and look yourself in the mirror.
