I read this article and two thoughts occur to me. One, I think that old Pat has spent far too much time in the sun, so who cares what he thinks.
Beyond that I wonder, what is the purpose of this remark anyhow. I understand if he is trying to lend support to Kerry, but beyond that it doesn't make sense.
