My son's school is across the street from my office. So almost every day I go see him when class is dismissed. Today I picked him up and he told me the three words in Hebrew he learned. He was so proud. And then he insisted on giving me three kisses and one hug.
He was very specific about it.
As I bent down to kiss my daughter goodbye she woke up from the afternoon nap, saw me and gave a huge smile. It is nice to know that abba is loved.

That is one of the wonderful, but scary things about being an abba... the unconditional love and complete trust they have in us.
It sometimes hurts when you wonder what you ever did to be worthy of that love and trust.
Humbling, to say the least.

Humbling is a good word for it.
