1) Drink
2) Drink some more
3) Have yet more to drink.
Just kidding ladies.
I was just downstairs in the lobby of the building listening to two 20 something women complain about their boyfriends and it occurred to me that I could throw my hat into the ring and try and help men with women.
I think that women are far more forgiving of physical flaws than men are. I think that more women operate on more of a cerebral/emotional level than men do. No profound insights there and maybe none to come, but here are a couple of thoughts to share.
1) You can be the "man" and still listen. More important than listening is letting her know that you "hear" what she says.
2) A good kiss can be all it takes to make her wonder what you look like when you are naked.
3) Make her feel safe, secure, cherished and loved and you will get more than you give. It is that simple.

I'd prefer to drink! But, apparently that causes more problems than it solves!
My wife suggests to me on a daily basis that I do not listen to her. I try, though. I honestly do!
But, as far as communication goes... I am all about getting to the point and brevity when it comes to all things verbal. I mean... I want to hear something tangible. Something I can work with...
I guess I fall into that Male Stereotype. Of course, we never talked about this until after Breckin was born.
And, now, I am going to have to compete with my male child in the affection of my spouse. Apparently I am going to have to learn to talk and (specifically) listen more...
Especially since I am not as cute and sweet as he is...
It took so long for the comments to load I forgot what I was going to say....
Oh. From a woman's perspective, you pretty much nailed it. And I think a woman can do her part in the relationship by realizing that men don't always want to talk about emotions!
