Glad to see that math is good for something practical. ;)
Actually I find this all to be quite interesting. They are absolutely correct that this is a thinking man's battle.

Thanks - I was begining to think all of these darn math classes were a waste of time - who in the real world needs to know how to do a partial integral or how to manipulate a matrix?

Phooey to all of the people who think math is useless. This article details some cool stuff (I esp. liked what the Russian mathematician is developing). The practical applications of math abound.
