As I sit here listening to iTunes I just finished a set that included "Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash, "Burning Love" by Elvis and a handful of other songs that I don't feel like listing. These songs pose this evening's "hot" question.
If you had to choose between the following life choices what direction would you go in?
A) A long lasting marriage based upon trust and mutual understanding. You are happy, but just satisfied.
or
B) A mad passion that is all-consuming. A hot and torrid love affair in which you find your partner to be intoxicating. Something like this is more than satisfying, but a fire that burns that hot could burn out.
Weigh your options and select your poison. What say you?
"When you're in jail, a good friend will be trying to bail you out. A best friend will be in the cell next to you saying, 'Damn, that was fun'." — Groucho Marx

That short post answers a question that's arisen while reading your blog, Jack!
Glad to have been of some assistance. :)
I have tried B. Needless to say it was NOT a healthy relationship. I tried A and ended up divorced because Mr. Man could not keep it in his pants with other women. So now I am trying C. A nice long medium burn relationship that has a comfortable feel most of the time with passionate spikes thrown in once or twice a week. (Passion does not necessarily = sex by the way)
Love and Light
I already have choice A. So...
Because grass always looks greener on the other side and I have never had an opportunity to try B, I would choose B. But...
I don't want to hurt anyone and if choice B would hurt anyone than it wouldn't be worth it.
But dang it, choice B would be fun!
Who says they have to be mutually exclusive?
I have known older couples who have been married for a long time and have both the solid marriage and the passion.
Am I the only man who is willing to comment here. Of course, the best would be a combination of a and b.
Of course a combination of A and B is ideal, but the idea is to choose which you prefer.
Too many cats- They can make you crazy.
