This could end up being very nasty. I live in California so I never worry about hurricanes, just earthquakes. Personally I prefer them because they come and their done. Not to mention that it would irritate me to watch the hurricane/twister approach and then worry about what might happen.
Beyond that, you guarantee that every year you'll worry about the hurricane/twister thing whereas with an earthquake, you know that it will not be an annual event.
