My two and half year old son is obsessed with thomas. He has a collection of diecast take along thomas trains and even sleeps with them at night. These diecast trains are great, they are a little smaller than the wood ones but still have the magnets and they have play sets that fold up so you can take them anywhere. They are only 4.99 to 5.99 a train at target. We just got a new house and I'm hoping to decorate his room with thomas, he already has a train shaped toddler bed lol.
My son loves Thomas. We have gone to see him at his live train stops. He was so excited. He is 3.5 and has gotten to be very proficient at building with the tracks. It keeps him occupied for hours.
