In light of the reaction to this post I though that it made sense to toss out another question.
This is the question of the moment. How long do you expect to keep on blogging? Do you have any sense of how long you can keep on going?
Will you be one of those bloggers who comes on fast and furious and then suddenly disappears or will you be here for the long haul.
What do you think?

I don't plan on leaving. I've been going full steam since July. I've cut down to mainly 3 posts a week instead of five because of content or too much time spent writing and reading.
But as long as I have kids, I'll have stories that I want to share, whether anyone listens or not. Who cares.
Great question! Sometimes I puzzle over this, wondering if I will blog forever. I guess when I feel like the time is right to quit, I will quit.
I think I will be at it for the long haul, but within the past couple of weeks I have developed my first real bout with apathy. I am trying to work through it now. Still posting but just not as full steam ahead. Great question.
Hi Eric,
As long as you enjoy it there is value in it.
Hi Amber,
Part of the joy of blogging is the uncertainty. It is a journey.
Hi James,
It is cyclical, these ups and downs or so it seems to me.
I've been blogging since November 2002, when I was 19. Most of them consisted of over-the-top rants by a 19 year old. :) It's interesting to see how ones blog evolves over the years.
I guess it is just important to enjoy it. I have less than 10 folks who visit my blog on average each day, so I'm really not doing it for the readers. :) It's a nice outlet for me, and something I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

That is very cool that you have been writing for so long. It has to be cool to look back at the evolution, at least I enjoy seeing that on my blog.
