Plus, Kurds from Babylon? I have for years assumed, based on much of what is known, that the ancestors of the first Jews were originally from somewhere in Persia. This fits in with the Kurds from Babylon bit - the Kurdish language can be described as mountain Persian. But that also indicates how little one's language says about one's ancestry; groups switch languages throughout history.
