Friday Is International Lurker's Day

Yes Ladies and Gentlemen International Lurker's Day has returned and in observance we are asking all lurkers to post a short note here, or at least a hello.

Please note that regular posters are welcome to comment as well.

Sorry, just looking.

Hiya! I'm a semi-lurker because I have commented every once in a while.

If we only comment like 10% of the time, are we lurkers? Or because that means every other day, are we commenters?

Howdy. I get overwhelmed sometimes, and can't think of anything to say, but I do pop in reasonably often.

I like to think that I was the original lurker, since I didn't even start to blog until 9 months after leaving my 2 cents all over the blogosphere

Hi folks,

Thank you kindly for revealing yourselves. I truly find the blogosphere and its denizens to be fascinating.

P.S. Ezzie,

I wanted to make you feel good and went looking for a championship team from cleveland but I can't seem to find any.

So instead I thought that I'd congratulate you on not having lived through the burning river. ;)

So, at what point does a lurker become a stalker?

Happy Hannukah Jack.

Donna,

That is a good question. What do you think?

Brian,

Thanks. Merry Xmas to you.

Jack--

My perception is that a lurker doesn't really think quite like a stalker. A lurker would merely be curious, while a stalker would be obsessive. A lurker must tend to hang around out of curiosity, while a stalker must have ideas that can't be shaken. A lurker is probably harmless, while a stalker is just plain creepy.

Sorry to interject such grim ideas into your delightful blog!

Donna,

That works for me.
