I suspect you're right, it's all PR. Hamas has to play to the American audience, in particular.
What a sad day. The front page of today's local newspaper shows the Brits celebrating in Trafalgar Square because they won their bid for the 2012 olympics.
The photo is so incongruous, in light of the news that emerged after the paper was printed.
