If there is one thing that we can count upon it is that life will change.

P.S. At this stage, they need to know I'm not perfect and all knowing but I'm doing the best I can. They need to know how hard their dad and I work to sustain the life we all share and not take it for granted. They need to be aware there's much that's beyond our control and we just have to deal with it and accept risk. They can count on us loving them but they can't count on life staying safe and the same and that change can be a very good thing. Big lessons. Still working on those myself.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7082887.post-4427636634893613592008-08-12T07:45:00.000-07:002008-08-12T07:45:00.000-07:00Great post. I find it's easier to suppress a laugh than suppress tears - I'm supposed to be the objective listener not the object of the issue - the problem is I feel almost one and the same as my kids. Their joy is mine and their pain is mine too.

I love your writing style, you have a great way of drawing the reader into your world.frumhousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02735783157413222489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7082887.post-65882183006332360402008-08-12T05:07:00.000-07:002008-08-12T05:07:00.000-07:00Your parents deserved Oscars.
