Yes, I would thank you -- but my firewall blocks them. I guess I'll have to continue my blog-reading at home instead of at the office... which is probably what my company wants me to do, anyway.

B2,

I counted on you as one of the people who would enjoy this.

Hi Jack...a few weeks ago, I was at my favorite Mexican Restaurant...and in walks this little blond woman, sits down next to our table...I knew who she was immediately and asked her "Aren't you Bart?!!!And in her Bart Simpson voice... Nancy Cartwright, promptly replied "Yep, I am". We proceeded to have a long conversation...I think she was thrilled that someone recognized her (I've seen her on tv, and in person 5 years ago at a book signing). She was so friendly, kind, and a real shmoozer! Nice to know some people in "the biz" aren't affected...I guess it helps to be a cartoon...lol

Hi Randi,

Since you live in town I am curious, what is your favorite Mexican restaurant.

I have several, Las Fuentes and Papas and Beer are close to the top.

Nice story about Cartwright, I have heard similar stories in the past.

Hi Jack...haven't heard of those restaurants...mine is called Hot's Taco's...little place in Northridge (yes, the VALLEY!)...but, hey, as it turns out, Nancy Cartwright is honorary mayor of Northridge!!!

Randi,

I live in the Valley and love it here. Las Fuentes is in Reseda, it is around Vanowen and Reseda Bouelvards.

Dos Arbolitos is in Northridge, on Nordhoff I believe. That is great also.

I'll have to check out Hot Tacos.

Jack, For some reason I assumed you live over the hill. I grew up in different parts of the valley, I love it too...but, you know, we take such a bad rap. Hot's Taco's is at Reseda and Devonshire (Northwest side).

Went to Birmingham for high school. I am a native of LA and spent most of my time here in the Valley.

I didn't think it had been as many months away from here as it has clearly been. I was certain I had updated this place in December and ...
